You no longer have to email Vori Support to add someone to your team or change what they can see. As a Banner Admin, you can add and manage your own users in Back Office and control exactly what each person can access with roles.

Before you begin

  • You need the Banner Admin role. Banner Admins can manage users across every store in the banner.
  • Open Users in Back Office.
  • Have the person’s name and email address ready.
Roles replace the old access settings Vori managed behind the scenes. Instead of asking Support to turn access on or off, you assign a role that grants the right access.

Add a user

1

Open the Users page

Go to Users in Back Office. You’ll see everyone who currently has access, along with their role.
2

Add the new user

Select New User, then enter their name and email address. They’ll use this email to sign in.
3

Assign a role

Choose the role that matches what this person does. See Roles at a glance below to pick the right one.
4

Save

The user is added and can sign in with their email right away.

Change or remove access

  • Change a role: open the user and select a different role. The change takes effect the next time they sign in.
  • Remove access: remove the user from the Users page. They will no longer be able to sign in to Back Office.

Roles at a glance

Each role grants a specific set of access. Assign the one that matches the person’s job — you can always change it later.
Reporting and Agent Chats are add-on roles. Assign one on top of another role when you want to grant that access specifically. For example, a Pricing Clerk does not see reporting or sales data — add the Reporting role only for the people who should.
