Basics: Running get parameters on your payment terminal

Get parameters is used to download the latest updates from the payment gateway.

Steps:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the payment terminal touchscreen.

    1. A black bar should pop up on the bottom of the screen

  2. Hit back arrow 2x

  3. Enter password pax9876@@ (use the screen keyboard, not physical keypad)

    1. This will cause the payment process app to close, taking you to the main screen of the payment terminal

  4. Tap on DCDirect and then Get Parameters

    1. IMPORTANT: Multiple windows will pop up—please do not select anything and just wait for the screen to reload.

  5. The download is complete when the Welcome page appears on the payment terminal, which may take up to a minute.
