How to setup a scanning device

This article explains how to connect a scanning devices with the Vori iOS app.

UNFI/Supervalu Gun (Linea Pro)

1. Go to Settings → Bluetooth and connect the scanning device.

2. Go to the App Store on the scanning device and download the Vori app.

3. Login using the credentials the Vori team provided during onboarding (or select reset password).

4. Select a vendor to view their Order Guide.

5. Start scanning items! When an item is detected, the device will beep or vibrate and add 1 case or each to the Cart.

6. Adjust the quantity by scanning (1 for each scan) or manually change the number.

Socket Mobile

1. Press the small power button for 3 seconds until two beeps sound. 

2. Go to Settings → Bluetooth and connect the scanning device.

3. Open the Vori app and select a vendor.

4. Start scanning items! When an item is detected, the device will beep or vibrate and add 1 case or each to the Cart.

5. Adjust the quantity by scanning (1 for each scan) or manually change the number.

iPhone Camera

1. Open the Vori app and log in. 

2. Select a vendor.

3. Tap the "Scan" icon in the middle of the bottom dock.

4. Place an item barcode within the white outline.

5. When an item is detected, the device will beep or vibrate and add 1 case or each to Cart.

6. Adjust the quantity by scanning (1 for each scan) or manually change the number.
