How to generate and review a report of tips collected through the POS
Reviewing the Tips report is important because it helps track gratuities, ensuring accurate financial records and employee compensation. As with all our reports, you can filter by various date ranges, as well as the lanes.
Generating a tip report
Steps:

Navigate to Reporting page

Go to Sales Overview report

Change
Breakdown by
to Tips -
Review tip totals based on the selected date filter, as well as by day of the week or hour of the day.

Reviewing orders where tips were received from customers
Steps:

Navigate to the Tips report (instructions above)
-
Filter by desired date range
-
Hover over a chart
-
Select Underlying Data
-
Find the date you are inquiring on

Scroll to the right of the table, sort by descending values for easier viewing

Search for the order
-
Tap on Order ID to bring you to Order details

Reports can be exported via PDF and scheduled for export.
