How to enable, disable, or limit cash back on the POS
This article explains how the Cashier Management page in Back Office can be use to place limits on cash back. This page can also be used to enable or disable cash back entirely on the POS.
Introduction
By default, cash back is an available option for all customers paying with Debit or EBT Cash cards. The amount of cash back can be selected by the customer on the Shopper Display or by the cashier under the Shopper menu of the cashier screen. By limiting the Maximum Cash Back Amount in Back Office, the available cash back options for both cashiers and customers can be reduced or entirely removed.
If cash back isn't an available option on the POS, the Maximum Cash Back Amount is currently set to $0.00 in Back Office. This setting can be easily edited to re-enable cash back for cashiers and customers.
