Reviewing till balance helps identify any errors or discrepancies in cash handling or transaction entries.
Go to
Reporting
pageSelect
Point of Sale
and then tap ontoTills
You are able to filter by Date, Register, or Cashier.
Note: Filtering by Cashier is helpful if you want to review employee patterns.
If there is a difference between the Expected Amount and Actual Amount, the # will be shown in the Difference column.
If the till is under, the amount will be shown in red with parentheses.
If the till is over, the amount will appear.
If the till is balanced, the column will be blank.
To adjust balance, scroll to the right of the list, select View
, then Adjust Till. You will be able add new amount under Updated Count. Tap Confirm
to save changes.
In order to adjust balance, cashier needs to Close till first. If till is still open, there will only be an option to Review.
