Additional Quick Actions
Department Menu:
You can now pin a department on the home screen and view a list of items within that department. This is particularly helpful for the produce department or non-UPC items.
Tare Menu:
Easily tare items for stores that need to add manual tares to items sold by weight. Clicking on the tare menu will populate the list of containers created in the back office under Item Modifiers, Containers.
Bottle Deposits:
Add a single bottle deposit to your quick actions screen. Note: You can only add a bottle deposit to the last scanned item.
Custom Discounts ✨
Create custom discounts within the discount menu screen. You can have up to 7 custom discounts embedded within this menu. Reporting on custom discounts can be viewed on Reports > Point of Sale > Discounts Usage. Vori recommends stores make in-store promotions instead of relying solely on item discounts at the point-of-sale.

✨ Other Features and Customizations ✨:
Custom Receipt Header & Footer ✨
Based on customer demand, you can now customize your receipt headers and footers, as well as add your logo. Please send your current return policies and any other customizations to Vori Support.
Naming Paused Orders ✨
You can now name paused orders at the POS. Paused orders can be easily found in a separate tab within the All Orders section.
Improved Search on POS, now including Brand ✨
You now have the ability to search for items by brand in the POS. For long item names, press and hold an item to see the full description load across the top of the box.
Larger Settings Icons ✨
In response to customer feedback, we have increased the size of the settings icons in the bottom right corner. A status indicator has been added to the Status Menu ⚙ to indicate if a system peripheral is disconnected from the POS, showing 🔴 if something is disconnected/offline.
Additional Peripheral Tracking:
We are now showing connection status for the cashier number pad and hand scanner in the Status Menu ⚙
Screensaver:
The POS now has a screensaver displaying the date and time.
Bug Fixes:
Promotions: Fixed an issue where a promotion was not enabled even though its status was pending.
Promotions not updating on POS: Resolved an issue where newly created promotions were not downloading onto the POS, even if the basket was empty and connected to network.
