For instructions on accessing the New Back Office, view our guide: Access the New Back Office. 🚨 Before you begin: Ensure you have access to the New Back Office and have already created a Promotion and Offer. Accessing Additional Attributes
Conditional rules can be applied to all offer types. They are located at the bottom of the Offer Details section.- Navigate to an existing offer or start a New Offer.
- Ensure you have selected Full Details to see all configuration options.
- Scroll to the Additional Attributes section at the bottom of the page.
- Select the attributes you wish to apply from the Unused Attributes menu.
Loyalty Members Only
This condition restricts your promotion so that only Members (shoppers enrolled in your store’s loyalty program) can receive the discount.- Logic: Once applied, the register will only trigger the discount if a loyalty account is scanned during the transaction.
- Business Use Case: This is ideal for exclusive offers meant to drive new sign-ups.
Minimum Basket Total
This rule requires a shopper to reach a specific total dollar amount for their entire transaction before the deal activates.- Logic: The discount triggers once the total retail value of the entire cart, including the items currently on promotion, hits your defined threshold.
- Business Use Case: Use this for very generous offers with high markdowns where you want the total basket size to help offset the cost of the discount. It is also useful for standard “Buy X, Get Y” or percentage-off deals to encourage larger trips.
Limit Per Basket
Limit the number of times a specific deal logic can trigger in a single transaction.- Logic: If the limit is set to “2” and a shopper buys enough for three deals, the POS will only apply the discount for the first two sets.
- Business Use Case: This is great for high-value ‘loss-leading’ offers designed to bring shoppers into the store. Setting a limit (e.g., 1 per customer) ensures that all of your shoppers can benefit from the deal, rather than a single person stocking up at a very low price and clearing your shelves
