# Payment Terminal Error Messages

> Review this article to understand payment terminal errors.

### What to check first

Before troubleshooting specific errors:

1. **Try the payment again.**
2. **Check your internet connection.**
3. **Confirm the correct payment type is selected** (credit, debit, EBT, eWIC).
4. **Restart the payment terminal** if the issue continues.

If the issue persists, review the error messages below.

##### **INV SHARE: GRP:150 (Processor Declined)**

##### **BAD FCS STATU:527 (Processor Declined)**

What it means: There may be an issue with EBT or eWIC setup, or the wrong payment type was selected.

What to do:

* Confirm the correct payment type (EBT, eWIC, card) is selected.
* Retry payment type.
* If the issue continues, contact Vori Support.

##### **INV ACCT NO:131 (Processor Declined)**

##### **TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - DUKPT not Enabled. (Client Error)**

##### **035 Tag in Error:904 (Processor Declined)**

What it means: The card or account information is invalid, unsupported, or was entered incorrectly.

What to do:

* Retry the payment.
* If entered manually, re-enter the card number carefully.
* If the issue continues, ask for another payment method.

##### **Timeout on Response (DCDirect Error)**

What it means: 300 second timeout.

What to do:

* Payment terminal [restart](/hardware-and-integrations/payment-terminals/fix-your-pos-payment-terminal#reboot-the-payment-terminal) is required after this error.

##### **TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - Socket Error Trying to Connect Error 3006 (Client Error)** — TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - DNS Lookup of '[prod1.netepayhosted.dcap.com](http://prod1.netepayhosted.dcap.com/)' Failed with Error 11004. (Client Error)\*\*

##### **Payment Processor Declined: 500**

What it means: Bad Network or error on payment processor's side.

What to do:

* Retry the payment.

##### **TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - Cash Back Not Allowed. (Client Error)**

What it means: Card doesn’t support Cash back. Most likely it’s a credit card.

What to do:

* Retry with a Debit Card
* If issue persists, remove the cash back from the order.

##### **TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - EBT Card Requires CardType. (Client Error)**

What it means: Card payment was selected but an EBT card was used.

What to do:

* SelectEBT SNAP or EBT CASH as the payment type and retry the transaction.

##### **TRANSACTION CANCELLED - No Valid EWIC BIN Presented. (Client Error)**

What it means: The BIN (first 6 digits) on the presented card doesn’t match the state’s BIN.

* Each state has its own BIN (e.g. 605856 for CA). If a store is located at CA but a customer uses WA’s WIC card (605860), they see this error).

What to do:

* Ask the customer to use a different payment method.

##### **Over PIN LMT:106 (Processor Declined)**

* The customer has entered an incorrect Personal Identification Number (PIN) too many times. The card issuer has blocked further attempts to use the PIN.

**TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - SRED Fault. (Client Error)** — TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - Pad Returns F102 = 0x83: emvBegin failed with return code -1100 : Sred fault\*\*

What to do:

* Contact Vori Support
