Manually Update the POS App

Learn how to manually update the POS by reinstalling the app.

While updates are typically automatic, you may occasionally need to perform a manual update to troubleshoot an issue or install a new version immediately. 

Manually Update the POS App

Follow the steps below for manually updating the app by reinstalling it through the Kandji Self-Service portal on your store's iPad.

  1. Quit the Vori POS app.

    1. Use three fingers to swipe down on the iPad screen to access the Home Screen.

    2. Press and hold the Vori POS app icon.

    3. Tap Quit App from the menu.

  2. Reinstall via Kandji Self-Service.
    1. In the menu bar (top-right corner of the POS iPad screen), tap the Kandji icon (the white bumblebee logo ๐Ÿ).

    2. Tap Kandji Self-Service.

    3. Scroll down and find Vori POS (Manual Install).

    4. Tap Reinstall.

  3. Confirm the POS version.
    1. Reopen the Vori POS app.

    2. Tap the System Status โš™๏ธ Icon in the toolbar.

    3. Check the version number to confirm that the latest version is installed.
