How to Apply for eWIC in California

Want to start accepting eWIC at your store? Here’s how to apply to become an authorized eWIC vendor with the California eWIC Program—plus a prefilled application to help speed things up.

Step-by-Step Application Process

✏️ Note: The application includes a section about your POS provider. Vori has already filled that part out. You’ll just need to complete the sections related to your store.

Complete the Application 

Fill out the remaining required fields:

  • Store details (name, address, EIN, etc.).

  • Ownership structure and contact info.

  • Sales, hours, and POS system information.

  • Infant formula suppliers and pricing.

  • Sign and certify the document. 

Include Required Attachments

Make sure to attach:

  • A valid health permit or recent health inspection report

  • Your California Seller’s Permit (unless your store only sells WIC-approved foods)

  • Sales documentation, if required (Form 401-A2 or recent monthly sales statements)

Submit the Application
